Homelessness can be caused by a variety of problems. The main cause is unaffordable housing for the poor. Secondary causes include mental illness, physical illnesses, substance abuse, lack of incentives to work, poor work ethics, and, lack of decent education.

A Grammy - Hans so Beautiful. We have a river run through out city and a high homeless population as they camp along the banks. My husband and I know a lot of them. Believe it or not there are like 'sub-species' no disrespect intended for some are friends of ours. When we take them in from time to time some had been out on the streets so long they could not handle being indoors. How that extreme was ever allowed to happen in a country such as Canada stuns my soul! No one is immune to this ...

For someonewhocansee -- Thank you for caring enough to put this on YouTube to make people not just aware of the homeless, but to show them so that others can also see for themselves what a tragedy this is. Hopefully, this will help to open some peoples' hearts and to have more sympathy for people that end up in this situation. Many people have no clue what they take for granted everyday.
