  • Well I just listened to all four parts and I certainly didn't hear a "drunkalogue". I heard experience, strength and hope. Thx Stevie.

  • What a trip to listen to SRV share. Thanks for posting these. Funny how what we do brings us all to the same level/place/standing. Dude was just another recovering alcy/addict, like all of us, once we get inside the door and take our seats. Hello to all you recovery folk, nice place to bump into you.

  • Sjames314 and Anyone else dont be confused the enemy is the author of confusion just talk to GOD ask HIM lay it all on HIM HE created us and loves us.

  • GOD my prayer is for Those in aa. YOU know They are being mind controlled and that satan is behind it all. Give Them wisdom to see. In JESUS name i pray.

  • What a great tribute to Stevie Ray, he can continue to speak to us from beyond and tell us how the greatest thing that ever happened to him was sobriety through the grace of god. I remember the day his helicopter went down, and they played an entire evening of his music on Clevelands 98.5 WNCX. I didn't even know that he had been recorded giving a lead, what a great find for the fellowship. He will always be a brother in this awesome fellowship of AA, and his music certainly lives on in us!!

  • I'm on the verge of tears...the entire speech was so inspiring

  • @valluvssrv your post is very honest, i do hope you find your balance and true happiness, I also am trying to stay sober as it has caused such misery and suffering,i am inspired by Stevie here and glad to see the courage he had to love himself enough to do this, peace.

  • thanks for this audio. it's let me into his psyche and battle with drink and dope. he was a nice humble guy. No ego at all.
