  • What was Parker's score for this CD leg?

  • I want to say 88 but I am not totally sure. He took 2nd place, but most dogs were disqualified and only 2 dogs made it through.

  • thats amazing, how long did it take to train?

  • Actually his training began at 11 wks old..with hand feeding from day 1 I got him.. not treats. 3 times a day feeding working with him. He knew the routine by 4 months old...but that was with no distractions. Training groups and my trainer helped in that area...but with a pup you never know what they will do.

  • Parker is all grown up now and has puppies of his own. You can see his puppies at doggiedogblog dot com

  • Your dog is way to young to be concerned about his protection abilities. He is just a baby in his mind. No need for concern. Just take care of him, train him and socialize him and when you need him he will take care of business. Learn more about training at doggiedogblog dot com

  • I have a GSD, he's just over 5 1/2 months but I'm worried..got him at 8 weeks and because i have a large family theres always someone to run around with him so there's just always food in his bowl. He's enormous..around 70lbs now..very strong..however i have never heard him bark, he's more like a baby as opposed to a guard dog..walking him is just a pain he drags me around so he can sniff everything in site! Is it too late? He's still smart..he knows to rollover for a biscuit!

  • Wow! Nice pup and his run! You got a special little guy there, it is hard to find a pup that has that much focus that young.
