My friend just rolled his Black 06' 3 days ago, I was actually surprised to see just how well it did. Anyway, while the car was on it's roof, he unbuckled himself and walked out.

@hondafan16 what are you talking about...???
-
glad mine's this safe (Y)

@tpaladino i dont think so, maybe the german automanufactuerers do,d ue to the fact that some of their highways dont have speed limits, and cause their just engineered better then the rest of them, but heck i dunno anything lol.
-
Do they even test at that speed? I think its assumed that speed is too high of a standard to hold manufacturers to.
-
couldn't help but notice the airbag deployed before the dummy moved up. That is great.
-
yeah but i think this test is at 40mph, it would be significantly worse at highway speeds like 65-70mph
-
with side airbag
the 9-3 is similar to the cadillac BLS not CTS. The cts is RWD, the 9-3 is FWD. Not at all related. The CTS is on GM's sigma platform with the SRX.
The BLS is a 9-3 with cadillac styling cues. The BLS and 9-3 are on GM's Epsillion platform with the malibu, g6, and aura.
2 very different cars
