This has been a longtime favorite of mine. It's a strange, strange world indeed.

  • One of my favorite songs. It is great to see what this group looked like. Glenys Lynne is gorgeous!

  • It's funny to see the hairstyles back then. :)

  • If you must know , master jack in the song was a pimp

  • In the world of today 2011, it is a very strange world we live in Master Jack!

I have always loved this song.

  • Yes...it is a strange world we live in, Master Jack, as a matter of fact, It is downright weird!

The song sounded like she learned everything from Master Jack, but then decided to strike out on her own. Now let me get this straight, Jack was the master, so what would that make her; and what... pray tell, did they do that is not told in the song?

I wonder if leather and whips and lubricants were involved in any of this? We'll never know!

  • WHAT A CLASSICALLY UNDERATED TUNE..THX DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @digitalms75 I thank you so very very much for your enlightening answer. The lead singer here looks like she has been chosen by God to send the message! Such a great song. I will always like the sixties with their great wisdom and wit, and ability to stand up to the man.

  • @Aliendear ribbon from the sky =whip, tie up your problems =handcuffed slaves, sell your problems on the street=- selling slaves ,throw in a south african band and listen to the other parts and you'll get it ............

  • An excelllent example of how a Musicians Lyrics can sometimes dig deeper than the an Artists Brush..............

  • Such a very interesting song. What is it about?

I thought maybe it was about England, master jack.

  • @kimatoz3 Most definitely.

  • Great song.

    I love it.
