Hey RealMojaMoja I have a US-2400 and I use Windows and mine works beautifully man. You should try using Nuendo or Cubase. It does a WHOLE lot. Don't hate Windows yet. Try some new applications.

nice bro! hey i was thinking of buing the TASCAM US-2400, I do alot of live recording usually 48 tracks is there a page switch were you can switch from the first 24 to the next 24 channels quick?

yes under the jogshuttle wheel is a bank up and bank down to go 24 channel up or down for an awesome total of 192 channels
