the quran says: "He" means God was telling us what THE MAN saw. he is paiting us a picture of what THAT MAN saw. God does not explain how the sun turns aroud. the rotation of sun is explained somewhere els in the quran

De 'miracles' vind je in de commentaren van verdwaasde Qur'an-exegeten, niet in de tekst zelf, die opmerkelijk mager van inhoud is, verward en repetitief.

Qur'an 51, 47-48 does NOT mention an expanding universe. The video is deliberately misleading. If you don't know Arabic, check a half dozen authoritative translations here on the internet, English, French, Dutch, German, Turkish, you name it. The 'expansion' translation was made to fit the moden theory, not the other way round.

As to the Big Bang theory, scientists, rightly or wrongly, do NOT state in that theory that the world was 'created' (by God) from 'nothing'. It says that the Big Bang was a so-called singularity (time/space/energy rolled into one) 'exploding', thereby giving rise to the universe as we know it. IF THAT WERE DESCRIBED IN THE Q INCLUDING A MENTION OF 14 BILLION YEARS OR SO THAT WOULD INDEED BE IMPRESSIVE. But of course it isn't.

All the so-called miracles of the Qur'an evaporate on even the most superficial of inspections. You can read miracles INTO it, if you're blinded by belief. Btw, the knowledge of the ancient Greeks had not totally been lost in the 7th century, even in Arabia (3:30) For instance, the round (as opposed to flat) earth theory was developed by early Greek astronomers (and not by Copernicus). Re the Expansion verse read the most authoritative translations, again no miracle (because no theory) there.

"wisten WIJ 1400jr geleden" :) Capo identificeert zich graag met de Arabieren van 1400 jaar geleden. Die wisten een hoop, in tegenstelling tot "ze hier". Grow up, je bent gewoon een nederlander van allochtone afkomst, of een marokkaan(?) met een nederlands paspoort, ook goed. Niemand heeft hier je 'volk' achterlijk genoemd, maar niemand is verplicht onder de indruk te zijn van andermans zogenaamd heilige boek.

Had je er wat op tegen?? Dat is te hard voor jou om erin te geloven. Alleen mietjes houden niet van regeltjes en loyaliteit. Alles wat ze op school leren betreft wetenschap, biologie, natuurkunde en wiskunde is volgens hen uit het niets gekomen. In de Koran staat dat allemaal letterlijk in geschreven. Dingen die ze hier 50jaar geleden pas wisten, wisten wij 1400jaar geleden. Wie is hier nou achterlijk. Welk volk?;)
