  • i agree with your sentiment. every viewpoint is for somebody. its just a matter of being able to read between the lines and peoples interest in a given subject. but for all that, i believe tony benn has unblemished credentials as a campaigner for democracy unstrangled by the shackles of capital and for the rights of the opressed and

  • I bet the police won`t arrest Tony Benn!

  • brittain is a mini-USA

  • i TRULY agree. he speaks like a true pacifist. he tends to come off very neutral as well on many levels.

  • Well most certainly. The fact is we can't just stand by and watch the hawks win every time. These corporations and businessmen masquarading as politicians seem all powerful, but a genuine revolution, driven by a ground swell of support from concerned citizens, is not impossible, especially not in this day and age of the internet etc. If enough people vote to the left of Labour and the Democrates, it will show the incumbancy what the people want and they will be forced to evole or die.

  • View every media broadcast with skepticism.

  • Extremely educational

  • The video clip is OK and very informative. Tony Benn was my MP when I lived at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. I saw his successor Paul Holmes MP on Thursday 11th March 2004 at the House of Commons and went to see Lord Woolf in the House of Lords. A green card is needed for Commons and red cards for the Lords. It was the same day as the Madrid bombings. His comment of not getting the truth is relevant to the 9/11 cover-up of the prior warning of the 5th September 2001.

  • A very informative interview. Tony Benn gives sound advice. After he retired as MP for Chesterfield he advised me to see my MP Paul Holmes at the House of Commons, and Lord Woolf in the House of Lords on the 12th March 2004. This is democracy in action. Ironically it was the same day as the Madrid bombings.

Peace by negotiation is always the best route.
