Many people don't really know what racism is. Racism is not just an individual. Racism is an Institution. After over 400 years of this country's beginning, it has been ingrained into the fabric of this country. That is what Rev. Pflager and this video is saying that is reflected in Hillary Clinton and many others in this country. If we want to solve the problem Racism presents, the country has to face up to it's EXISTANCE as an INSTITUTON NOT AN INDIVIDUAL !!!

Father, I don't have a 401k. When I was a young child my family received subsidies of rice, cheese and peanut butter. I am a single mom. I put myself through colleg because average white kids don't qualify for financial aid. As a social worker of 30 years, I have helped people of all races. But most of all, I have been mistreated by black professionals who routinely play the race card.  The words you speak are unkind and do more damage than good, as they are not true for everyone.

You are taking what he said personally. There are millions of White people in this country that have benefited from the holding of people of other races down. Unfortunately some Whites have been caught in the crossfire. Black professionals don't have a race card. What you see is for the benefit of themselves, and not for the benefit of their race. Black people as a whole don't benefit from what they do. Pfleger is talking in general as a whole, not to you as an individual. Keep that in mind.

RACISM works in just the way some of the comments come out. Instead of arguing a point of using concrete examples, many resort to name calling and slurs. If I have been of the understanding that all your life white people have always held the HIGHEST positions in this country. This is not by ACCIDENT. It was perpossly DESIGNED. This is ALL you KNOW. @Ryooken It's this lie that was politically generated that creates the most animosity directed at the African American community. Let's be clear the law states that ONLY qualified applicants are to be considered for these positions. The reason being is because white deciding officials would find reasons to disqualify African Americans on superficial grounds, forcing black people to adopt the twice as good standard.

@Ryooken However, the opponents of allowing non-whites to be included or gain any financial independence, put strictures in the Affirmative Action Bill to include white women. Now I understand that women in the USA have not enjoyed full rights but to include white women when they aren't a minority sets up a faulty imbalance. African Americans were segregated and denied the basic human rights, to top that off African Americans were denied housing loans and most of the major things white Americans take for granted.
