  • what kind of mouthpiece do you use?

  • Custom Dan Johnston, modified H3 model.

  • Hey all. Check out my new uploads of my recent compositions "Lyric Pieces," and check for the sheet music FREE at my website, coming very soon.

  • So I've had my rose book for about a year now, a little over, so I'm familiar enough with the piece, but I never would have imagined that it could be played like this. Your sound was soft, almost like velvet, and the dynamics were rich too. How can you play that soft and maintain the same tone?

Wow. Simply put. This was a great encouragement. Thanks so much for posting it.

  • Diaphragm support is key to good tone and control.

  • I would post more of the recital if I could find a way to get the video off of the DVD and into my computer. The program I used for this isn't working any more. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Sean

  • i had to play this once for regionals! :D

  • did u do this as an encore? it's a little distracting seeing your accompanist and page turner sitting there doing nothing. remember performance is 50% visual whether you like it or not. you sounded great.

  • What are you smoking, each instrument has it's own timbre(color) which make it sound unique from other instruments.

  • Chances are you will probably sound the same on what ever instrument.

  • Beautiful sounds.

    I like it.

  • Beautiful tone, especially on the C at the end.

  • I just bought a Selmer Signature Bb. What do you think about yours?
