i raced flat track on a mod 200x and a mod 250r. the 250 was scary quick, with just a pipe, answer roost boost, boyesen reeds, k&n sock filter, hoosier tri tracs, and gearing.i ran it 2 years before it needed a rebuild. i ran in an open, "outlaw" money class, anything as long as it was safe to ride, was legal up to 500cc. won several class championships on both bikes by finishing in the top 3 race after race.

Let's not correct someone if you're not sure of yourself. "ATC" is ONLY used for Honda three-wheelers and is Honda's trademark. "ATV" is generic and can be used for three-wheelers OR four-wheelers.

its called an atc not an atv
finally someone put on some real three wheeler racing footage from the 1980's back when atv racing still had balls.

I raced my atc250R at my local motocross track in 1983 here in Michigan. It was the first atc race in the area. Every one laughed "Even the local Honda shop" at my very small, what they called "garden tractor tires" They were dick-cepek's new flat-track tires,, I'm sure I was not the first to do this, but I like to think I paved the way at my local track. After winning the race everyone asked where to get them.
