Dwarf Gourami breeding.
The female Dwarf Gourami came to the bubble nest built by the gorgeous male. She "kisses" him on the side, he warps himself around her to help squeezing the eggs out, and then the female released 10~20 eggs. Most of the eggs float into the bubble nest. A few dropped ones were picking up by the male one by one and then they were placed into the bubble nest before he add another layer of bubbles to make sure they stay in place.

I just bought these Dwarf Gourami yesterday. 2 hours after I set them loose in the aquarium, the male started to build a bubble nest underneath one of my Lilly leaves. Today, they started mating.

  • Did the babies hatch?

  • @19Midna91

    Yes.

Only 2 survived the first 2 weeks though. Both are 8 months old adults now. One male and one female. Had to separate them at young age since they didn't like each other. Watch my other videos to see them. "8-week-old fry sibling aggression", and "feed me hurry hurry hurry". Both are the bosses of their tanks now and bully others around.

  • can u tell me if my gouarmi is a male on my channel
