Leading up to the Margarito fightthere was dissention in the ranks. Pac started questioning what Ariza was doing and they disagreed.
Since Ariza is now on the outside Roach/Arum are worried about what he might say or expose so they will distance themselves and if the truth comes out they will say it was all done without their knowledge.

If Mayweather beats Pacquiao they'll still find an excuse, because nothing Mayweather does will ever be satisfying. If he loses, his legacy will still be intact, doubt he'd be the same fighter mentally, but the media would dog him out even more than they do. If Manny wins, they'll say he's the best fighter ever. If he loses, they'll still love him, because he's Manny and he's a good guy. There isn't that same love for Floyd because although he's P4P, he's tainted his image beyond repair.
