  • Well, while we try to make contact with other spezies, monkeys only throw theyre poop at us.

  • Humans can barely communicate with each other. Most of our issues and problems come from lack of communication and misinterpretation of others messages. We have a lot to learn form animals. Bark less, wag more!

  • I am a very empathetic person, and the things that humans do to each other and to the other creatures that share this planet with us makes me think I am NOT human because i don't understand how anyone could do these things. It makes me very sad. hes so right we need to find some way to share this place with each other (including the non humans). and the only way to do that is empathize.

  • wrong... we can speak to gorillas through hand signs, in a way it's meaningful.

  • We often underestimate animals, especially those who are not genetically similar to us like crows. Yet they have intelligence that rivals or surpasses that of dogs and even have human like communities. In most cities they are being seen as trash. Its pretty sad.

  • I think the only planets that are able to sustain life are the planets with the same atmosphere as earth. So therefore its possible there will be very similar lifeforms out there as humans. We may not be able to communicate but i think theres another Earth out there. Too bad we will never know :o(

  • Bad point on language. Animals don't possess the mental capabilities to effectively to speak back. Our primitive vocal/thought connection with these animals is due to not our barriers, but the animals. Just because we cannot effectively communicate with beings who possess the mental capacity of say Earthly animals do, that does not mean that we will not be able to share effective thought between a life form at our level of intelligence or higher

  • He is very enlightened

  • As the scientist left the room, the chimp retreated to the corner of his cage, looking sad and forlorn. When the scientist returned to the inner chamber, he looked visibly shaken. He stated he couldn't believe that the chimp recognized him, and remembered him after 20 years...he was asked what was the chimp signing to him? This I will never forget: In a quivering voice the scientist said, 'He was asking me, 'where have you been?' Since that day I have known they are just like us.

  • They then brought to this chimp the scientist who raised him at this university, and spent every day with him, teaching him how to sign. As soon as the chimp saw the man, he reached his arms thru the bars of his cage, and lovingly caressed his face. They began to sign to each other, and the man was clearly shocked the chimp remembered how to sign almost 20 years after their contact had ended, and also still remembered him! They spent about 20 minutes together, touching, embracing and signing.
