Alma Jean Gillin 1930 - 2009

Alma Jean Gillin
Age 79, passed away October 14, 2009 at home. She was born March 30, 1930, in Stryker, OH, the daughter of Homer & Dorothy (Yarlot) Coy. On August 27, 1948, she married Guy Gillin, He survives. Alma Jean was graduate of Adrian High School, Class of 1947. She was a member of Manitou Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband Guy, she is survived by her children; Mike (Jo) Gillin, Larry (Paula) Gillin, Rebecca (Joe) Gault, Bruce Gillin and Doug (Kathy) Gillin, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her sister, Mary Ellen (Bill) Bales.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2009, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home Adrian, MI, with Pastor Mark Kruchkow. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian.
