the shamanism around the herb must change, there must be sexual healing, there must be gender equality, seperate the herb from the idea of only hippies, look throughout time, from the spiritual and medicine traditions, and folk lore

Ah ok, who are you studying with ? Some Druid groups are very different in their interpretations and cover the gaps in what we dont know with their own ideas. Very little of the original tradition actually survives in written material, and that which is very heavily Christianised (being recorded mostly by monks/priests). But it is *a nice thought*. ;)
