very old song i learned from the playing of tommy jarrell. also called rye whiskey or the jack of diamonds. but tommy said the right name for it was the drunken hiccups. AEAC#

  • great version...very true to the original; i love it.

  • Very nice playing! I play this on the Norwegian hardanger fiddle which utilizes the same crosstuning. The only trick is to tweak the Fiddlers Fakebook transcription which is written for the notes as they sound vs. the way the fingers are placed on the strings that are tuned up.
