Medved says Medicaid is not redistribution of wealth.

Michael Medved starts out by coming out against all the redistribution of wealth. However, it turns out that he is in favor of Medicaid because he thinks Medicaid is not redistribution of wealth! Why you may ask does he think Medicaid is not redistribution of wealth, because it is a service! In Medved's view, when the government provides free services it is not redistributing wealth from the people that are paying for the service to the people who are receiving it for free.
It is one whopper after another. This is the natural result of a person trying to evade the truth.

Medved was the one being obnoxious. These people really do seem to get scared when you ask them about principles and philosophy, they are so used to dealing in the superficial B.S. of American Politics that they literally do not understand what Jan is doing and they all think he has some hidden agenda or something.

I thought Medved did very well. I also am against redistribution of wealth but there are some cases where it is a grey area. We do have some obligations I think in our modern society because we have taken away a person's ability to live completely detached from others. If everyone paid the same percentage in taxes and everyone had access to the same services I'd have little to complain about as long as those services were truly essential such as health care for contagious diseases.
