@TheVenom1804 you're right,Daft Punk,for example,made many songs with other samples for example,Crescendolls,Harder Better Faster Stronger,etc....and never mentioned the other artist but just because you dont mention someone in the cover album doesnt mean you havent contacted the artist about copyright permission and rights...thats where your manager comes along to deal with finances etc
