This is my 12 1/2" long, 3 year old Plecostomus Fish. He was only 1in. when I picked him up at the aquarium, and he's getting HUGE! He is very personable, and even plays with me sometimes. In this video, I bugged him a little bit, so everyone could see how beautiful he is! He had just woken up, so he was a little spastic... He has outgrown 2 caves... His third one, he can barely fit in, so he might be in a larger tank soon. I have a 20 High Gallon Aquarium. I hope you enjoy my video of my aquarium!

  • Coleco is now safely in a bigger tank, and alive, and happier than ever! thanks...

  • what do you feed it? seriously cause my plecos always die

  • @TheLaLasProductions Believe it or not, I fed him only algae disks up until 5 months ago! Whatever you do, PLEASE ALWAYS TAKE THIS INTO ACCOUNT... The main reason that Plecostomus fish die is because they starve to death. The algae on the walls and even algae wafers aren't enough, but made him get at least a foot. I used to feed him one a day when he was an inch, but now, about 15 wafers a day.

  • @TheLaLasProductions Also, you REALLY need to buy Canteloupe, Cucumber, Squash, and even Zuccini supplement his diet. THEY LOVE IT!!! Just cut it up into small pieces, so they dont just suck on the rhine. They want whats inside! Weigh it down with something, so that it sinks to the bottom of the tank. I PROMISE, once they realize its there, they will LOVE it!!! Remove whats left after a few hours. Oh, and watch out bc fruit seeds will clog your filters! All the best buddy! ~love Luke and Coleco!

  • Its called a, "20 high." It holds a little over twenty gallons. A lot of people keep their reptiles in a tank like this. I live in a condo, and just cannot have a 55 gallon in here! I will have one when I buy a home, though...

  • @TheLaLasProductions I never had luck with plecos until I learned one secret, If they are hungry they will eat flake food, and the brine shrimp pellets (they love them!). Just treat them like a corydoras cat, make sure enough food gets to the bottom for them to scavenge. It does take them a while to learn they can eat fish food, but when they do.........!

  • Makes me happy that you enjoy your tank so much. Beautiful Pleco you have there! Glad to hear its in a bigger tank.

  • yeh his size is about right because i bought that same log decor at walmart and it is huge...about 12 1/2 inches same as coleco
