Funny people hated us with little to no reasons what-so-ever. The U.S. protected Europe and Asia from the threat of the Soviet aggression throughout the Cold War, stopped the ethic cleansing of Muslims by nationalist Serbs in Bosnia and Kosovo in the 1990s, and liberated Kuwait from Iraqi occupation in 1991. Unlike other superpowers who conquer resources and power, we actually tried to help, causing us to be indebted to ourselves so we play some sort of superpower hero type like superman.

I lived and worked on the boardwalk in Venice, CA for 8 years. I've known hundreds of Europeans visiting from 2 days to 5 years at various levels of intimacy and friendship. Most are completely brainwashed as to what they think Americans are, while at the same time accusing Americans of stereotyping them. They have those videos about "stupid Americans" here on YT where they ask random people questions. They ask 100 people and only air the 10 stupidest answers, so they think we're all stupid.

@waderp You're argument is like saying everyone should stay in isloation. Because that's what WW2 happened. The Democracies let Germany and Japan conquer one by one and that's what WW2 in the 1st place.

The world needs a peacemaker like it or not. The U.S. have more resources and politcal reins within the world.

The world community does nothing, the U.S. does most of the work while the rest of NATO hide behind the USA and spend on their own social net.
