I don't believe Dean has set the exact price for the USA spire, but judging from the specs, it will be somewhere between $2500-$3000 street price. The import spire will only be $699 street price! We are accepting preorders on all of these basses for only 20% down.

You need a history lesson.

Dean sold the company in the early 80's and hasn't actually owned it since. It changed hands and ended up being owned by Oscar Madeiros of Tropical Music in Miami. Rubinson bought the name from Madeiros in the 90's and hired Zelinsky to do design and marketing in 2000. Dean was employed by Rubinson until 2008 when he left to start DBZ Guitars.

@Hysteriskull No, Dean Zelinsky left because he didn't like what this guy was doing with quality, and he wasn't respecting what Dean wanted to do. Zelinksy left and this guy took over. I still with check Deans out, but I miss the original Founder.
