  • Having the video only in 360p, that does not realy help to compare them.

  • @dummerbube - really?? how will a higher res show you better light sensitivity?....

  • doesnt the SD100 have CMOS sensors not CCD? is this the SD9?

  • it has 3 ccds

  • yes because the 3ccd (panasonic and all) ) in dark no god but 3ccd in sun or mach shine the best

  • i know dude, thats the whole point of this video

  • the panason sd100 has 3 x 1/6 inch cmos sensors, which panasonis have called a '3mos' system. the quality in low light is poor because these sensors are only 1/6", compared with the sanyo's 1/2.5" sensor

  • Very good and important test. I'm happy you put your findings up, thanks!

  • @BabyNSX Oh, there is actually a point where you are right: Of course you can tell which one captures lighter pictures in low light, but when you talk about quality in low light, than what I say sets in.

  • @BabyNSX I am not sure if you really don't know. But let me tell you with a few words and see for yourself: Pick a video that is on youtube in 1080p. Watch it. Do the same with the same video in lower qualities - you will see: more grain the lower the quality is. That means: If there are changes in different settings and even if there is no grain in full resolution, when rendered down to 360 with youtube, you can't tell a diffrence any more.
