My humble attempt at playing along to Herbie Hancock's 4 am. Featured on his Mr Hands record. Great fusion tune, with mighty Jaco Pastorius playing an incredibly groovy bassline, one of the best Jaco tunes for me. Let's say I'm just trying in awe, as it is not easy at all, and no-one plays like Jaco of course; kinda blasphemic to play along to it. Sorry about my cheap cam etc.
I'm using a Dean Jeff Berlin bass.

  • Amazing bassline!!!And wonderful bass... I love Dean JB!...

  • @psybody81 Thanks a lot. You know that bass? Do you own it? In fact, I'm planning to sell it. Because my heart now belongs to my Modulus Quantum only. I just don't use the Dean JB. It is a great bass though, simple, but with great features, such as the very hot passive pickups designed by Jeff Berlin himself, the ebony fretboard, the quality, sound, the finish. Hand-made in Europe. Best, L.

  • @Listendudeok Sorry for the slow reply...I don't have this bass, but I've tried it. I agree with you that's a great, simple and handly bass. I report it to my friends. Sorry, I've almost assembled a "Jeff Berlin-style bass" with a slim jazz bass neck, precision body, passive Bartolini pickups.Very similar to Jeff' s"Blonde" bass...I'll soon put a video on Youtube and I will send you the link. Cheers

  • @psybody81 Great! Looking forward to that bass of yours in the video... let me hear. Cheers, L

Salutations, L.
