Angharad attempts to cheer up Paul but is interrupted by a storm....
Taken from the play dream on's 2011 tour - written and directed by Lloyd Eyre-Morgan
Performed at The Three Minute Theatre Manchester 18th July 2011
The show is a coming of age love story about two boys who meet on a holiday camp-site in Wales during the 1980s and plan to run away from their dysfunctional families together.
It's 1986 and Paul -- an innocent gawky northerner from Rochdale, who has come on holiday to Norman's Cozy Campsite in Tresco Bay with his domineering mum Denise -- meets George, a boisterous lad from London.
The boys form a strong emotional bond and both fantasise about escaping their lives, but their dreams don't run as smoothly as they hope in this 90-minute comedy drama which contains strong language and brief nudity.
"The show has been described as something completely refreshing in the genre of gay theatre," says writer and director Lloyd Eyre-Morgan of Lemfilms, which he started to create movies and theatre productions.
