The problems created by the current postal strikes keep on growing by the day with school admissions the latest area which could be thrown into chaos.

Parents have to submit applications for next year's secondary school places before October 31st in various areas, however, the current stand-off between the Royal Mail and the Communication Workers Union could bring the whole system to a halt, according to a report in the Daily Telegraph.

Mums and dads are fretting at the possibility of a nationwide strike as this would more than likely take place next month, which could have massive consequences for children across the country.

Not submitting applications on time could lead to many kids not getting into a good school, however, parents could use alternative delivery services to make sure their application arrives on time.
