Buyer Beware!!! Renting a car from Rent A Wreck, WARNING!!! Rent A Wreck

Rent A Wreck in New Jersey if you reject to drive or rent this Rent A Wreck car they charge you $40 for failure to fulfill reservation agreement.

No one told me that the Rent a Rent car would have no A/C or that the car would be a real wrecked car with major damage all over it. This was never part of my reservation. They never offered me a car that i reserved but still charged my card $40.

When i reject to drive the wrecked or a car without a/c, they charged my credit card $40.

WARNING !!! Beware!!! of this kind of set up by Rent A Wreck in New Jersey.

I feel this was a set up to get $40 from because most people do not want to rent a non-a/c car (super hot summer day) or a car that has been in a major wreck and when you reject they charge your car $40.

When they pick me up (1.5 after you call them), at the Airport on one of the hotest day with a car with no A/C and the passenage window would not go down. Then they kept my luggage locked up in the trunk of that car until you paid for the car you will rent. What happens if you don't want to paid the $40 for rejecting to rent this wrecked car, would they try to keep your luggage?

@GOKART263 Yes this is a car that they should not hasve offered to us at all. I refuse to drive it and because i refuse they charged me $40 for not going along with the deal.

There was one women and man in the office and they had a driver picked me up at the airport 1.5 hours after i called them and he picked me up in a car with no a/c on one of the hotest days they had.

The office in the basement of a old home with Palm Reader on top, in the home.

You have to use the back door and go down stairs, no wheel chair access at all. And they keep your luggage locked in the other car until you pay up.

DOSENT LOOK LIKE A CAR THEY WOULD RENT. WHEN I RENTED THERE LAST WEEK I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE AND CAR .THERE WAS A GUY AND A LADY THERE AND THEY WERE SO HELPFUL. THEY EVEN WENT OUT OF THE WAY TO PICK ME UP
