We Must NOT "Repent of Our Sins" to be Saved.... We need to recieve the free gift of salvation from God. The works of Jesus is enough. This message is wrong. Belive in Jesus Christ! Is anyone able to save himself?

Repent is metanoeō, (μετανοέω) meaning to change ones mind, in the context of the Gospel means to change your mind about who Jesus is, is He the Messiah, or is He not. repent ye, and believe the gospel or in context, "Change your mind and believe the good news".
God repented, if repentance was a turning away and a forsaking of sin, what does that make God, is God a man that sins......?
In essence Salvation is by changing your mind, to believe on Him and in Him alone for your salvation... :O)

The answer to your question is "no".
That's why preaching "turn from your sins and accept Jesus" is so bad.
IF it were possible for us to turn from sin, we wouldn't need Jesus.

Well, Kent recently realized he was wrong in believing the mass taught pre trib rapture lie, so hopefully he will soon give up the "turn from sin" heresy as well.
He doesn't seem to push it like many street preachers, etc would when they say you MUST TURN FROM SIN, but what he is saying here is pretty much just as bad.
Repent and believe in the Bible just means to change your mind, from non belief to belief.
It has nothing to do with giving up sin.
Jesus saves while yet in sin.

It is a bummer when such a learned man in most things gets this tweaked. :-(

(KJV) Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Seen pretty clear to me...

Gentlemen and brothers. It seems that this debate is often that some brothers feel that adding anything to the gospel is unbiblical. Well i agree that we shouldn't add anything to the gospel. But if Jeremiah, Ezekiel, John Baptist, Christ, the 12, the 70, Peter, and Paul preached repentance, and then someone else does, leave them alone. I don't stop people from repeating what the Master said. So why do you? Jesus told us to preach repentance, so preach repentance.
Nice to see he adheres to sound Biblical doctrine instead of easy-believism heresy.

@JesusforLife2 Lordship salvation is not the true gospel, it's Mormon, Catholic cult bondage. You and the other Pharisees can take your works salvation packing!

To all of those who've been reading the many comments about this video, may I offer 2 reminders:The Bible is unified in its message in every case. God says what he means and means what he says.Yet ALL of us, including myself, state with absolute certainty that OUR interpretation is the correct one! Lastly, we all have biases. Anyone saying otherwise is a bald-faced LIAR. Applying those biases is very risky and unwise in Bible interpretation, and may be a stumblingblock to others. Caveat Emptor!

@tigerlilly66 You believe that you must be baptized for salvation.
