  • Bert Blumert (paraphrased by Lew Rockwell) said when they start putting pictures of living people on the coins, it's time to get out.

  • Since I recorded this a couple of years ago, I've read that the Mercury dime actually depicts Liberty wearing one of those Liberty caps with wings.

  • I LIKE YOUR SHIRT. and the content of your character ain't so bad either.

  • Thanks. I bought that shirt in Bangkok about 20 years ago. Timeless polyester.

  • Hmmmm, what to watch?

    CNN?

    Fox News?

    ABC?

    CBS?

    NBC?

Whats this? Jive Dadson has a new report? Well, I guess I will have to choose between fake breasts, toupees, or the truth and since Jive is all about truth I will watch him.

  • I do not wear a toupe! Original equipment.

  • A friend of mine and I had an idea similar to yours. When we looked at money, specifically the money and certificates of the United States, we noted that over time the art displayed on them became simpler. We both supposed that as a nation declined, the art would become more debased.

Art, due to its nature, is probably the first thing to go, and as such could be viewed as an early warning sign.

  • Hey, have you quit posting videos or what? I look forward to your next one.

  • hmpf, the legs crossed huh

  • Not a surprise: dime comes decimus, one tenth.

  • Jive, you know I meant the talking heads on the boobtube. You are probably snickering to yourself about this. Question, how do you feel about the electoral college picking the president instead of the popular vote? I think we are sunk either way, most of the populace are too uninformed and uninterested for the popular vote and most polititians are too corrupt for the electoral college. Sometimes I think there should be a minimum intelligence test to make sure you know what you are voting for.
