This test was designed by a man named Brian Mackenzie, a senior athletics coach in the United Kingdom, and we like to call it the core challenge test because it is extremely challenging! You'll feel every muscle in your body working (were not kidding) as you hold an elbow plank with different variations for 3 minutes. Your abs will get flatter quickly and youll find your core strength improve VERY quickly if you do this test every day! Remember: it is ok to work up to the full 3 minutes!   • How long can you two hold just the plank? "plankgirl" does it for 10 minutes or 3 minutes with her daughter on her back. See if you can give her some competition!

  • @strong1235 That is very impressive! Both of us naturally have anteriorly tilted pelvic placement, so you win hands down! Neither of us could ever hold it for ten minutes because our backs start to arch hopelessly! And I think I'd break in two with extra weight on my back! Good job!!!

  • pfff... I do 520 pounds deadlift, but I cant do this... I thought that pilates is a piece of sh*t, just a womans toning program, but now I figure it is extremely useful... I wanna include some pilates exercises into my program NOW... anyone here that can point me to a good free online pilates source?
