@lulzwhat123 Indeed, my father recorded the soundtrack at age 83, and his voice was not what it had been. But he could still speak Danish after living in Canada for 80 years, and was teaching it to his grandson. He did, in fact, die "thx" to a painful heart attack. And he was grateful to the heart attack because it meant that he would not linger for years in a nursing home bed. I was going to remove your comment as spam, but I think I'll leave it up so you can think about what you wrote.

@psviking1 I am sorry to hear that your father has passed away, it would have been interesting to have comunicated with him. albeit sad, at least he lived to a good age.His video is always there for other people to see and hear. he is STILL passing on his knowledge,to whoever views it. You must never remove it! It is his legacy to the world. You should try to learn Danish, it is an interesting language.I love speaking it! Patrick Palmer. x.
A big thanks for this video, and to his daughter Heather for leaving it up - I'm trying to learn Danish before moving to Denmark (incidentally from Canada), and I have to say that Mr Flemming has the clearest pronunciation of any of the "learn danish" sources I've found so far. I wish he'd stuck around a bit longer to make a few more.

@apfejes Thanks so much for your comments. We have some more recordings that he made, so I hope we do get around to making videos of them someday soon! It's getting easier, after 2 years, to deal with the things he left behind. Listening to his voice is especially poignant. If you subscribe to this channel, YouTube will send you an email when we upload another video.

@zelmogens Interestingly, you wrote that just about the time when Flemming passed away. He was 83, and his voice was not what it was, and his heart was not strong, so yes, I can see how he may have sounded sleepy. And he did find his PEACE with a big smile. He welcomed his next adventure with an open mind, and with joy, and the way he died was a gift to us all.
