Captivating (2008)

'Captivating' is a project developed for my first semester of Film Technology 2.

It is based on an original script by John Bradburn, which consisted of very basic actions and dialogue. Our task was to adapt this script into our own story. (if you search around YouTube you'll find other films with the exact same dialouge but totally different plots/storylines!)

'Captivating' focuses on four friends who are stuggling to cope after the death of one of the group's brother.

Three of them know the reason behind his death but the brother of the deceased (who relied on his brother for care) does not know.

The struggles and tensions arise when the three friends are torn between remaining silent or letting their friend know the truth.

We shot on a Canon XL1s and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS3
