The weight and balance were designed to make the rocket arc quickly and crash about 20 feet away. We did this in order to make sure the fins took affect and altered the crash path, which is exactly what happened. Here's the site link: http://sites.google.com/site/airwavershr/Home/guided-rocket

  • Can you actually control it?

  • @Heliman96 Not via real time remote control but by programming the arduino before launch we can control it

  • now, we need one about 30 times bigger, with more fuel, better rockets and a warhead

  • @SuperNoobdude I don't know about that lol

  • So far is that the best you can do?

  • @Carrera82 Yes. The second version is in work but moving slowly. It'll be a larger motor and better IMU

  • Oh boy the FAA is going to get a real kick out of your efforts. I sure hope they dont come and kick your door down one day. Rockets are one thing. Guided rockets are considered missiles unless you get a license. Good luck.

  • Very interesting.

  • cool, i actualy made one a bit bigger and so i could put a ammonium nitrate warhead on the end of it. the warhead whent off only 1 out of 3 times so i got to improve it

  • cool
