This is a Death Note music video done to Muse's song "Thoughts of a Dying Atheist". *note* the views expressed in this video in no way represent my personal belief structure, it's just a cool song put to an anime I enjoy.

it's about how everyone has a sub conscious spiritual side...even non believers...there is something unsettling about knowing that you're going to die, and thoughts collect in your head...what if?

One of the best anime's I'd ever seen... This song match perfectly, and well the last scene with the blue roses make reference to the impossiblilty. Just great.

Very good job on the video. I don't often see good AMVs about Death Note b/c alot of ppl have trouble not making it look boring. Death note is exciting in it's own way

Yeah, I see Death Note as a story about how the purest, best boy, becomes rotten and destroys the lives of everyone around him all for vain, when he could've easily saved them instead.

Well, I think that that's one of the main points of the entire anime, to show what can happen to those who hold great power. It can bring a man to murder. And... it showed the scene you were talking about, so, I'm not sure it'd be considered a spoiler at this point, but if they didn't notice what exactly was happening, then I suppose it'd be best if you didn't say. ;)
Oh, and yeah, this video's awesome. this song goes great with Death Note. Plus, the timing was excellent.

Well, I don't agree with you when you say "it's crazy how much power can deteriorate intelligence". I think he's still intelligent, but he uses his capacities to kill people.
