Great TV recording and sound. You can live the race in a way that is not possible in 2011. Congrats Germany. It's valuable documentary.

Watching the video of 1975 F1 gp, we can see that the drivers needed something less then 35sec to cover the part of the track that was cut off in 1983.
In 1975 with his Ferrari Lauda set a 6:58:6 during qualifyings, so we can think that in the 1983 track he could have done something like 6:25.
1983 Bellof time of 6:11:13 with Porsche 959, is then faster of more or less 15sec, even if it must be considered that in 1983 the track had been made smoother and so probably was a bit faster.

These car are still the fastet ever ran in Nordschleife ,... We know Bellof record of WSC - 6.11 ... But the track were shorter 2 km/h, and Nikki Lauda said that in 1975 in same track he would do about 6 min
