ach, those happy days. Watching this, it's very saddening to know that it would not take long before life would cast his cruel spell upon Jacqueline du Pre (and thereby on Barenboim, her husband). Happiness, so transient... and so scary to know that.

That's why we need music, that is why Schubert is still played, and Beethoven still cherished, and all those others.

I find this music inspiring, it is not ofton you get all 5 musicians together, wow!!
It feels like music from the gods, ohh gosh they are such funney people, i love themm all!!
I went to the concert in London it was truly amazing, i cried because i was so moved by the waii they performed, :)

That's a fairly ridiculous idea... that talented musicians wouldn't get along playing chamber music. It's probably the most enjoyable thing you can do together. :) They're all young and having a great time.
