@nickelwindow53 it takes place in Harlem, which is in upper Manhattan, NY. Ther really is no plot, it's kind of like an original Seinfeld.

I grew up in the 50's watching Amos & Andy & loved it!! I sure miss not being able to enjoy this show- it wasn't about making fun of blacks- it is just DARN GOOD ENTERTAINMENT!! They are classic!!
