  • Hey Rick, do you have any problems with sun glare? I saw a few people complain about that.

    Also, which mapset contains the highres satellite images; the photo quality maps?

    How's the base set of maps that is included?

    Yes, sun glare can be a little annoying, which is the case for all color LCD displays. It is still totally usable though. As for satellite images, got me. I no longer have the unit and I was only interested in topo.

  • Stymie02, good question. I would guess that they are fairly similar in that reguard. The map60 csx may be slightly more sensitive because of its antenna.

  • This unit would make a perfect marine gps. It is all about what features you need and how much you are willing to pay for extras!

  • Hay Rick have you heard of any troubles when configuring the compass, it requires me to turn it and spin it and I want to know is it broke if it wont complete the setting (fail) on the compass. Oh your video just helped its the gps unit!

  • You can use a software called Mobile Atlas Creator to create custom maps from google earth, open street map etc.
