This male patient, 62, had total hip replacement surgery by Dr. Michael Jacobs in Baltimore, Maryland. No walker was needed; he only used crutches for 4 days and a cane for four days.

Minimally invasive total hip replacement works wonderfully to relieve pain caused by arthritis, and offers less scarring and a much quicker recovery than other methods of hip replacement.
