ok this is the how it goes:
-the fight starts and a bunch of stuff happens
-than at 00:56 itachi does some illusion jutsu, and sasuke has no idea
-sasuke thinks hes winning and then he thinks he killed itachi
-at 1:38 itachi releases the jutsu and steals 1 of sasukes eyes.

Itachi was trying to take sasuke to his limits without killing him, so that he could extract orochimaru......so obviously he was going easy on sasuke. IDK if itachi wanted to die right after killing orochimaru but he was already somehow sick, (probably from overusing sharingan). and that lowered his power greatly.

sasuke didn't kill itachi, sasuke was shitting in his pants while itachi saved him from sharingan.

The only reasons itachi died is because he planned that whole fight and that he planned he would die. He was also suffering from illness which he took medicine just to at least try and survive. He could have killed sasuke if he wanted but he didn't because he actually likes sasuke (like a brother)and killed the whole uchiha clan just to protect him- and that's how it goes. sasuke didnt kill itachi

Ya i dont read te manga, I read some stuff that let me know a lil more than I wanted (but once u start reading its soo hard to stop O_O ) but i am glad tats still the case, it makes for a much better story in my opinion that itachi wanting sasukes eyes this whole time... thanks ^ ^
