One of the WORST vehicles in terms of quality GM has ever made. It's engine was assembled in China, and had tons of problems with a leaky intake manifold, transmissions, A/C, etc. There may be good ones out there though...
we had so much bad luck with the equinox we bought it in 08 and my dad got rearend and also back into a tree then we ran into a flatbed which if u watch this video u will see the wreck with the flat bed Type once in a life time wreck and watch
my dad has a 06 chevy equinox ls front wheel drive has galaxy silver its a 5 year lease suv but it still gets good mph gallon he bought it at 5 miles brand new in 06 the mileage he has now 70,000 miles not bad
My parents just bought this car in galaxy silver for $14,500 (used). I love it. Reclining and sliding back seats, awesome radio, a cd holder under the console, and more. :)
@highonpsi even though its an old post, ya i do agree. you cant divide evenly into 32 to give the cylinders an equal number of valves. even at 4 valves per cyl, you only have 24. i think 32 is a type-o.
I love this truck. I get about 19-20 MPG with mixed driving (highway / city). I like to be first off of the light and I drive a bit aggressive in traffic. I cannot complain about the power from this engine and the mild exhaust note when I am driving. The truck has a lot of room with the rear sliding bench. I have a trailer hitch and it is able to pull 3500 pounds. The mileage is great for the truck I have about 71k miles on mine. Let me know if you buy it.
@MEDANIC can i ask u a question. i am planning on going on a trip this summer with three friends. i am trying to find a car, specifically this one, that is more spacious than my '05 focus but stil reasonably fuel efficient. would you recomend me buying this 2005 chevy equinox LT AWD for $7500 with 69000 miles?
