The Backbone Bar is the combination of alternating slip knots and the Single Genoese Bar. Together these two tying techniques fuse to create a bar that is both innovative and indicative of articulating vertebrae. Make a bracelet of the tie, or a strap, or a demonstration piece...the choice is yours. Video production by JD of Tying It All Together.

  • My backbone bar has scoliosis... :(

  • @JWeldon123 TIAT does a video on a ripcord bracelet that pulls apart EXTREMELY fast.

  • I'm wondering if this stitch workes as the same as the survival bracelets. Is there a way to just pull on one string and the whole bracelet comes apart to use in an emergency? I'm looking to make survival bracelets as christmas gifts for my scouts next week and I LOVE the design on this bracelet more then the traditional cobra stitch but it doesn't work if it's not able to come apart quickly and easily.

  • U should make a vid on how to make a bracelet out of the backbone weave

  • I used this knot to finish a bookmark. It was really cool and the person loved it. Thank you so much.

  • @TyingItAllTogether Perfect! Thanks again! This seriously is one of the best YouTube accounts I've seen!
