I hate how people are all down on parents for teaching children about guns. If they dont teach them, and they have guns in the house, then the child (crafty little people I know because I used to be one), will figure out how to get a hold of that gun and it wont go well. Particularly if the ammo is WITH the gun. So I say have at it and teach children all about guns and safety in particular. And PS fuck trolls.

@idotman12 Maybe the best solution would be not to have a firearm in the house at all?. don’t get me wrong I used to be, and still am a keen gun enthusiast, despite the UK’s big downer on guns.

I have just relinquished ownership of two shot guns and a 22 rim fire, due mainly to lack of opportunity to shoot, but also I’v a kid on the way, I would Never teach a 10 Year old to shoot just as I wouldn’t try to teach him/her to drive, sorry just my opinion.

@rizzathecat Well I taught my son how to drive also. He drives the lawnmower. He is twelve now. He has been helping me with yard work, driving the lawnmower, for the last three years. I'm sorry you don't trust in your son's ability. AAANNNNNDDDDDDD, not only can he drive and shoot.... he is also a Beta club member.

I have worked in law enforcement so know a thing or two about guns. I have seen far too many children like the exact one in your video with life-threatening injuries doing exactly what your kid is doing. You should thank me for my comment and please don't take it personally. I won't go into all the things that can go wrong. I feel a responsibility to post what I posted. @asmiths32 I agree with you completely. I am fourteen years old and i have learned about firearms and firearm safety for most of my life. I have completed firearm safety classes in my state and i have to say, i feel much safer around firearms and i am glad i was taught about them. Too many youngsters are "learning" about guns in games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty. God bless you and in my opinion, good parenting on your part for teaching you kid about firearms.

That was the age my parents taught me about guns. It’s apparent you taught him safe handling of a firearm. “he don’t miss” I love that part. :o)
