How to Build Make and Stretch Large Canvas. This is an in-depth tutorial on how to build a large scale canvas from wood materials and canvas. The first video covers cutting the wood, nailing with brads the corners and cross braces. Stretching and stapling the canvas is covered in this video. This is part 2 of 2 episodes describing in detail the process of making your own canvas. To see the tutorial about applying the gesso http://www.youtube.com/user/JaneKenoyer?feature=mhee#p/u/9/Z6xtmA4azcM and http://www.youtube.com/user/JaneKenoyer?feature=mhee#p/u/20/5E8sEQgZEMc I hope you enjoy and remember to be safe around saws, tools and nail guns!

  • If you don't have a table saw or router, you can also use a hand planer and sand paper for the beveling of the face edges. With pine it's not that much more work. Great videos!

  • What a good teacher you have become..Love your Mom
