From Joel Quarrington's recital from Thomastiks Bass Encounters 2008, at the famous "Porgy and Bess" jazzclub in Vienna, Austria.
My own transcription of Korngolds "Garden Scene" from his violin and piano suite, "Much Ado About Nothing".

  • Wow! What a performance, such expressive playing. I've never heard anything like that on the double bass.

  • The bass sounds amazing in fifths!
