@shemseven I completely agree with you. This work is a suite and this movement is a dance. Considering that, I think the space between the chords (and sometimes phrases) are too static. It might just be the recording environment as well. BUT, I think this interpretation would have been fantastic if he could make those silences move to the next sounds. I know it's possible, because my piano lecturer keeps on harping about it. ;)

@sizduman I disagree. What if he waited five minutes between the notes? Should I just adjust to see the beauty of the tempo then as well? There are different tempos to music, yes, I agree, musicians, composers and conductors clearly interpret music in their own way. However, in my view, if there is too long a gap between chords, changes and notes, the mind loses the grasp of the melody and the tune. It loses its effect. This is what is happening here I believe
