This is so sad. I'm learning about this in history so i'm going to convince our teacher to let us watch this!

This makes me so sad. Not only because of what England says, but when you see their past, it's jsut that much more tragic :(

I love this scene mainly cause I'm a fan-girl, but I get annoyed at the lack of historical detail, like America's army having his army in matching uniforms, they could barely afford shoes!

Sigh, people seem to forget that America really did hate England back then; he broke away from England not because he wanted him to see him as an equal, or for love. America got sick of the taxes, he wanted his own beliefs, a fair justice system, and England was cruel to him. Hetalia just gives you the sweet short version of it. This was our first war and we almost lost it too; it's not a romance story or a joke. Please be considerate for your own country fighting its freedom.
