Star Wars "Death star ride" generated in AFTER EFFECTS

I tried to re-create the famous death star sequence in After Effects. :)

The structure of the trench was quite simple to re-create, i arranged the textures/layers in the 3d environment one by one to create the death star surface, and then i used the 3D camera to move the point of view.
It was not so difficult to do, and also quite fun too! ..but it can be very heavy for your computer, i warn you!! : )

NOTE: The Xwing and Tie fighter models are animated in Maya and imported as a PNG sequence.... but all the rest is generated entirely in After Effects!
