Ecoxotic PAR38 aquarium lights feature Cree high power LEDs and are available in 12,000K and 455nm Royal Blue. Each lamp is 21 watts and includes an integrated LED driver and focusing optics. An excellent solution for adding dramatic shimmer and color supplementation in marine reef and freshwater aquariums.

  • What are the individual wattages each bulb?

  • @AngilasGuy They are 3w Cree LED chips

  • @AngilasGuy Each LED is 3 watts.

  • @ecoxotic1 yeah thats sounds good and will the 12,000k leds add a little bit of blue to the tank, and how many watts? Thanks for the quick response :)

  • @sparky825 Yes, they will add a little blue to the tank. They pull 18-21 watts each lamp.

  • Can i keep soft corals with these? What is the best one to really brighten the color? How many of these will i need for a 30" long tank? In your opinion what is the best one? Thanks a bunch

  • @sparky825 Sure, PAR38 lamps work great on 30" aquariums. We would recommend using 2 of our 12,000K PAR38's, you'll even be able to keep SPS corals if you like.

  • @Phantomg23 On a 125 gallon, you would need to use 6-8 lamps and space them around 6" apart from each other.

  • if i did this on my standard 125 gallon, how many bulbs would i need and how far do i space them apart

  • @blackreef13 Yep, you can easily keep SPS corals under these.
