White-Footed Mouse

Baby White-Footed Mouse that I found, abandoned on the garage floor, on September 20th.

He's approximately 15 days old at the time the video was taken, and was beginning to wean himself onto solid food.

So far, he's been introduced to kitten formula - soaked bread, and apple mash(a quarter of an apple chopped up so finely, that it's more the consistency of apple sauce, and therefore easier for him to eat. In a few days I will introduce him to carrot mash, and then meat protein.

Thanks for the concern! :) He is doing very well - he's been fully transitioned over to solid foods, and in the meanwhile I've been researching ingredients to put in my own mouse-mix for him to eat. Right now he is in a 15 gallon tank, but he will be transitioned over into a cage that we'll make for him, which will include branches to crawl over, and rope ladders to climb. :) He has a heating pad underneath him at all times(set on low) as mice have trouble maintaining their body temperature. :)
